Jerry Augustine

Jerry, who is well-known for playing in the San Francisco Bay Area music circuit for over 25 years, represents the "heartbeat" of the band. He provides his own unique style with sharp drum licks and hip-hop grooves. Jerry's talent has been displayed with some of the best top-40 bands and continues to move the direction of Too Smooth.

Jerry dedicates all his musical attributes to all mighty GOD, his parents, and music admirers alike that gave him an early dose of musical guidance for life!

Through his drumming and other musical endeavors Jerry gives honor to his father Terry and mother Lily for supporting the family's musical dreams. As a distinguished singer herself in the Philippines, mother Lily has guided all her children in their musical career opportunities, whether it be managing her beloved daughter and singer Darlene or promoting The Augustine Family Band!

Jerry also pays much gratitude to his brother John for being a major part of co-founding the Too Smooth creation.

On a higher level, which was attained with a famous gospel group lead by Pamela Bluford od Oakland California, Jerry has toured with the gospel realm as an opening act for top celebrities such as M.C. Hammer, CeCe Wynans, Fred "Rerun" Berry, and Bobby Jones on the BET TV network show in Las Vegas.

Jerry (aka: Jboogie) has the charm and personality that wins everyone's hearts! Jerry is also the manager of Too Smooth Productions, where he shares his business savvy and knowledge of the industry with wife and co-partner Yvette Salas Augustine who helps drive the spectacular front line show as the female lead vocalist of Too Smooth. This Godly merge has exploded their music ventures into a very successful musical career, allowing them the privilege of being one of the favorites among Bay Area bands. Too Smooth has become one of the hottest top-40 and R&B bands in Northern California.

Jerry sends out a special thank you to the families of musicians and the artists that have supported and been a part of Too Smooth Productions' musical history adventure throughout the years.
